Splurge, Spend or Save? Pore Minimising Primers

Personally, I think primers are an amazing invention. They are a staple in my daily makeup routine. Having excessively oily skin, large pores and generally problematic skin, primers are an essential if I want my makeup to stay on throughout the day.

There are so many primers out there at the moment, high end and high street, that aim to minimise pores and give you a super smooth, airbrushed base for your makeup. I'm always on the look out for the perfect primer, so I've definitely tried a fair few. I wanted to compare a few different ones that vary in price, and put them to the test to decide which performs the best, as well as considering value for money!

April Favourites 2016

It's that time where I come to write my next favourites post, realising that we are once again into a new month.  It's 19 degrees in London today, which is a rarity seeing as it snowed last week.  Nonetheless, I'm excited! I've been patiently waiting for the long, summer nights that are just around the corner.  I also have two holidays to look forward to this year! 

 (Also, Drake's new album was just released like 5 days ago. I'm trying my best to function like a normal human being, but so far, it's not going too well.....)

Worth The Hype? Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm

You all know what this stuff is.  The whole world does, which is why it's sold out practically everywhere! Thanks to Nikkie Tutorials (aka the youtube makeup queen), Nivea's sales are through the roof, all over something as simple as a men's after shave balm.  Who would've thought it?

NYX Lip Lingeries - Kylie Lip Kit Dupes?

So... I'm a little late on the matte liquid lipstick bandwagon.  I've wanted some for over a year now, particularly lusting over the Anastasia Beverly Hills ones when they were first released.  However, I never really knew what to order as I couldn't decide on a particular shade, and I didn't want to spend tons of money shipping them over and so on.

Happy April, everyone! 

I hope you all had a great easter.  I've eaten way too much chocolate, but I'm slowly getting back on track.  I'm trying so hard to cut down on calories & carbs as I have two holidays coming up this year and I NEED a good bikini bod! I started the squat challenge last week, too.  I'm literally only on my sixth day and my legs are truly giving up! I SHALL PERSIST!

My Top Products for Oily/Acne-Prone Skin

I have been dealing with oily and acne-prone skin for as long as I can remember now.  It's taken me years to find the products that are most effective for my skin, keeping oil at bay and my spots to a minimum.  I think I'm coming towards the end of my severe acne stage, but I'm still horrendously oily (you could totally use my forehead to fry an egg when I wake up in the morning.... no joke).

For all you oily people, the main thing to remember is that you will always look younger than you are.  We won't be getting wrinkles for a LOOOONG time!  Just keep that in mind when you're moaning to yourself about your skin.

February Favourites 2016

I'm not sure what happened to February..... it's already March tomorrow! I do like winter, however I'm pretty excited to see blossom on the trees and I'm definitely looking forward to some warmer weather (I hope so, anyways).

I've been keeping my spending to a minimum this month, so I don't have TONS of new favourites to share with you guys, but I do have a few!

The 10 Beauty Products I Couldn't Live Without

I think every girl has certain products that they couldn't live without, whether it be makeup, skincare, tools & so on. I do like to experiment and try new products, particularly with makeup, but once I've found something I love, I'm gonna stick with it! Winter Skincare Essentials

Don't get me wrong, I love winter. I'm a November baby so everything about this time of year excites me! However, I always seem to suffer from very dry skin during these colder months, and it's just one of those things that I can't deal with very well (possibly because I'm very oily during the rest of the year). When the temperature drops and those bitterly winds pick up, my skin is truly exposed to the elements! Having rough, cracked skin is something I'm not used to. It bothers me - big time!
