I don't yet have any Halloween plans for this year, but I love watching Halloween makeup looks on youtube. Some of them are just so creative! The last time I even attempted something like this was when I went as a witch to the year 2 Halloween disco.... but even then, there was no crazy face paint involved.... I was just a pretty little witch lol! I was either that, or Miss Santa!
I came across Chrisspy's 'gangster clown' tutorial. She didn't use any face paint at all (even though she regretted it later), so I thought it would be a fun look to attempt. It looked pretty straight forward too, while still being effective. Considering Chrisspy is an incredible makeup artist, I don't think I did too badly. You can check out her tutorial below (just beware, you may be on her channel for hours and hours.... I'm guilty of this).
I feel like this actually gave me a chance to practice serious winged liner, and the cut crease technique, and I was actually very pleased with myself! I used similar products, but had to adapt it slightly by using a white eyeliner instead of white eyeshadow. I'm sitting here questioning why I don't own a white eyeshadow... but anyway, I hope you like the look and want to try it for yourself!!! The thing I love about this kind of makeup is that you can be as creative as you like, and there isn't really a right or wrong way to do it. If you want to look like you just got your face slashed open with a chainsaw, go for it. The weirder, the better!
