Every year for my birthday and Christmas, I manage to stock up on lovely new fragrances. Usually, I'll get a few new ones which will last me the year, as I alternate them all the time. I love smelling different depending on the occasion, and I love it even more when people ask what I'm wearing!
Sadly, I'm coming to the end of some of my favourite perfumes. There are definitely some I would repurchase, but I'm always open to trying new ones. I tend to use quite a wide variety too - some high-end brands, and other more affordable celebrity fragrances.
Vera Wang - Be Jeweled 30ml EDP (£34 from Boots)
Firstly, the bottle is so pretty and looks fabulous on my dressing table. It's such a light, girly fragrance perfect for everyday wear. It was my go-to perfume for work when I couldn't decide what else to put on. It's slightly fruity with pomegranate and red currrant notes, but also very floral. It does linger as it's an EDP but it's definitely not overwhelming. I love it!
Kim Kardashian - Gold 100ml EDP (£19.95 from allbeauty.com)
This is one of those perfumes that not many people seem to know about, but I'm constantly complimented on it. Being a Kardashian fan, I received this as a gift last year and was instantly amazed. It's ridiculously affordable for a 100ml EDP, and it honestly stays on all day. This is the ideal perfume to transition from day to night, as it contains some light, citrus tones but it's also quite rich and spicy. Believe me when I say it smells expensive!
Liz Earle - Botanical Essence No.15 50ml EDP (£49 from Boots)
I'm already struggling with words to describe this perfume - it's simply amazing! My mum and I love Liz Earle's products anyway, so we tried the Botanical Essence perfume and we were not disappointed. 90% of the ingredients are 'sustainably sourced' and natural, which is a bonus. Although it's quite musky with sandalwood and damask rose extracts, it's still very light and perfect for everyday wear. It lingers for hours and just smells so luxurious!
Elizabeth Arden - Red Door 100ml EDT (£53 from Boots)
Red Door has been around for years, but it's quite a classic and distinctive perfume. I had a 5ml sample of this a few years ago, but the bottle was different and it was an Eau de Parfum. I think they have slightly changed the ingredients and design since then, as an EDP version is now virtually impossible to find! However, for an Eau de Toilette, it's seriously strong. It's mainly floral, but very warm and rich, containing orange blossom, jasmine, sandalwood and oakmoss notes. It's perfect for a night out, and I'm hoping the bottle will last forever as you only need a tiny spritz!
Chloe 50ml EDP (£62 from Boots)
I decided to buy the original Chloe as a holiday treat in Gatwick's duty free store, so it was slightly cheaper. I always smell it on other people and it's just so beautiful. It's very fresh, but warm containing peony, rose and amber notes. It smells so different to any other perfume I've owned, and it's also very versatile as I think it is perfect for day or night. I'm a sucker for nice packaging too, so the bottle sold me! The sweet but elegant appearance definitely reflects the smell inside!
Rihanna Rogue 125ml EDP (£43 from Boots)
This perfume may actually be my favourite of the year. Rihanna seems to always get it right when it comes to perfume. I wore Reb'l Fleur every day until it ran out, and I've repurchased it twice since. I know for sure I'll be doing the same with Rogue. For a 125ml EDP this is so affordable, and the scent is so unique! It's very sensual with notes of musk, vanilla, patchouli and suede. I'm always complimented when I wear this, and for some reason it's exactly how I imagine Rihanna would smell... sweet but seductive lol! I pray this perfume is never discontinued because it's one of my favourites - EVER!
If any of you have perfume recommendations, please let me know! I have the new Versace Eros Pour Femme on my Christmas list so far, along with the Narciso Rodriguez For Her L'Absolu. These smell AMAZING.
