I've loved Urban Decay makeup for a while, although I haven't got round to trying everything. The Naked palettes are amazing - so pigmented and smooth, and usually well put together. As soon as I heard that this was releasing, I was so excited. The packaging itself is just gorgeous, and it honestly only gets better as you open it.
I feel like if you've never tried the naked palettes before, this is the one to get. In fact, it's probably the only one you need (it's basically the first 3 palettes combined and glorified!)
The palette provides everything you need for a perfect smoky eye look. The two last shades 'Combust' and 'Thirteen' are great for a matte base which you can build on with the other shadows. The palette ranges from warm to cool tones, so you can vary your look and still use shades like 'Black Market' and 'Smolder' to darken the crease and so on.
For the everyday cool-toned smoky eye, I apply 'Thirteen' all over the lid after using my Urban Decay primer potion. I then blend 'Password' into the crease and outer area, softening it with a fluffy brush. I then pack 'Black Market' and 'Smolder' into the outer corners, and 'High' into the inner corner to brighten it up. I then use 'Combust' to blend the dark edges for a look that's not so harsh. This combination looks fabulous with a winged liner, and a dark red lip for the autumn.
I can't wait to experiment with all the gorgeous shades for the upcoming party season!
